Hello everyone, I'm Gavin Peng. I didn't realized that we have to post our first journal on this blog since I found you guys all posted already and I remember this is our homework. First of all, I'm from China. I'm grow up in the city named Dongguan a couple hours away from HongKong. Due to location, so I can speak Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. After graduated from university, I decided pursue my master degree majoring in Biochemistry. However, to obtain a master degree in US is not easy because language barrier is the first challenge that I have to confront. But I really enjoy my American life, everything is new to me..especially my lovely classmate :). Many of my classmates are come from different countries, and sometimes I will try to convince them teach me their native language (usually bad language); just in case someone use their bad language yell at me that I can understand( jk, someone told me this is first step to learn new language and I believe that). Learning different culture is a good experiment for me. During the leisure time, I like to watching movies and do some sports, such as swimming and play pool ball. Whatever, nice to meet you guys hopefully we have a good memory in this entire semester and enjoy it..... and do forget give a comment for me....
